Patient Information

Your Appointment

Please bring the list of your medications, any prior medical records pertaining to your eye condition, your regular and sunglasses, any eye drops you take and an updated list of your medications.

The front desk will collect your demographic  and medical information on a tablet. Then a technician reviews your past medical history and asks about the reason for your visit and checks your visual acuity. In order to examine the retina and check the eye pressure, eye drops will be administered. The dilating drops will make your reading vision blurred for 4-6 hours. You may want to arrange for a ride as the dilation may also cause increased glare for distance vision.

The doctor will then examine your eyes and may order tests like OCT , fundus photo, Fluorescein angiogram or visual fields. She will then review all findings and answer any question you may have.

Please allow 2-3 hours for your appointment.
